COVID-19 Cancellation Alert

Appointments cancelled through May 1, 2020

(updated 3/31/2020)

Per the recommendations by the CDC, American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists pertaining to the novel virus COVIC-19, Anderson Orthodontics has cancelled all appointments through May 1, 2020.

The safety and health of our patients and their families are our greatest concerns.

RESCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS

Patients will be contacted in the next few weeks to reschedule.  Please monitor your voicemail and text messages for information from us.

EMERGENCIES

Dr. Anderson is available to see a patient to resolve an emergent orthodontic need such as a poking arch wire or a loose appliance.

CONTACTING US

Please call or text (preferred) our office at 304-455-4200 with any questions.  Please text a close-up, in focus photo of any problems to help us determine the best course of action.

UPDATES

Please like our Facebook page and watch for updated posts or listen for an automated phone call concerning the extension of this closure.  If the office will be closed after May 1, 2020, an automated phone call will be sent to each patient notifying him/her of any appointment cancellations.

NEW PATIENTS

New patients will be contacted about initiating a VIRTUAL CONSULT.  The patient will be instructed on sending photographs of his/her face and teeth in order to begin the treatment planning process.

PATIENTS WITH RETAINERS or CLEAR ALIGNERS

Patients will be contacted about having a VIRTUAL RETAINER/ALIGNER VISIT.  The patient will be instructed on sending photographs of his/her retainers or aligners on their teeth and asked to answer a few questions.  If the retainers/aligners are fitting well, an office visit may not be needed for several weeks or months.

PATIENTS SCHEDULED TO HAVE BRACES REMOVED

We understand your excitement to have your braces removed and we will try to reschedule braces removal appointments as soon as possible.  Patients are asked to closely monitor their tooth positions and alignment and send us a photograph of any problems they notice.
